Hi all, this might be a silly question but how do bounties actually work? Are we allowed to view the bounties that have been solved? Or only the original poster?

If you are looking for a pattern and you cant find it here, you can make a bounty for it.
With a bounty you give a reward ( minimum 500 coins) to the member who found the pattern and uploads it.

The other way, if you see a bounty and you have the pattern, you can upload it in the right section. And answer on the bounty thread "Thank you very much"  using the button I Answered.
A moderator will check your post and move it to the right place. She will report the bounty to the moderator who gives the reward to you and send the link of your post to the bounty owner.

If you are looking for a pattern that is not posted on the site, then you open a bounty for it. Minimum reward is 500 coins.
When a bounty is solved, the reward is given to the uploader of the requested pattern and the bounty post is recycled. The pattern now is available to download for all members.
All replies in the bounty area are hidden for reasons of privacy and not even the bounty owner knows who uploaded the pattern.

Hope this answers your questions.

Please read the information on the bounty area home page
