Vignette was designed to use a yarn advent calendar or gradient set, but it’s such a flexible pattern that you can really use any yarn you choose. It would look wonderful made from a heap of reimagined scraps from many past projects or a curated set of special skeins from your stash. The pattern includes both a wrap and a square throw version: your choice! With cosy, squishy garter sections interspersed with a super-simple but evocative wavy eyelet lace repeats, Vignette is comfort knitting on a grand scale. A neat, i-cord border gives the piece a modern finish, and I’ve created several quick and easy tutorials to help! size
