I hope members get a chance to boost coins like the youtube task and, before that, the ad task.  I'll miss the 300gcs for using it to gift red envelopes :(

I agree that the "Youtube" task is outdated. The videos were old, people had already seen them, and all the codes were leaked into the comments. It's fair that it was cancelled. But this was the only truly interesting task. It was just a pleasure to do it. Come in and see something.
I don't miss 300 GC, I just wish they had come up with a task that was fun to do instead. Let there be no high reward for it, but let it be exciting.

It does make sense for older members but not for more recent ones. I've been a member for over a year and have been enjoying those videos a lot. The patterns are not always to my taste but, whatever, it helps think outsaide the box.

This is a pity. I dislike the new refferal task s omuch. Had I had IRL friends to share fiber arts patterns and advices, I would likely not be here...

Very sad that the Youtube task was removed. Same with the daily login bonus that was still being applied when I joined.

Overall, there's an uncomfortable pushiness about buying cryptocurrency... :(

I agree with you. I also watched the video on YouTube, although I saw the code in the comments. I liked them. And the new task will be able to be completed by those who have their own blog or channel with subscribers. Where can people like me leave this link? I will be banned for this on any resource where I try to do this.

Well, the gold coins that you gather by achieving various tasks are the currency that you can afterwards use to purchase patterns on the forum.
No coins = no patterns for you.
Making it more difficults to get coins is making it more difficult for users to access patterns.
And has side effects as useless posting (which is a way to make coins)
