Yarn question

I haven't crocheted with the big yarn yet. To make toys, I tried once but the yarn was so thick. I didn't get it. Is there any tricks or tips? Thank you in advance.

Hello, I don't really understand your question.
Do you mean you've never crocheted with bulky yarn? If so I recommend to use the appropriate hook size you find on the label or a size bigger; if you want to make plushies, try the velvet type of yarn, which is quite affordable works up easily (it's not nice to unravel, so keep it in mind); if you'd rather do clothing, I'd start with a nice scarf or hat, which will work up in no time at all and be very soft :)
