A sturdy, all-crochet fairway wood sized golf headcover in a patriotic “Stars and Stripes” design. Requires three different colors of yarn: red, white and blue. A single skein of each of the three colors combined should make at least 3-4 headcovers. While pattern uses a simple single crochet stitch throughout, this pattern will be easier for the more experienced crocheter as it requires some flexibility in interpretation and understanding of how to join and align various parts properly. However, if incorporating the “flecks” for the stars is too complicated, the top can always be completed in solid blue and then either the stars embroidered with white yarn or star beads sewn on as a separate step at the end.
