After my beloved BUBI died - after 17 years - my daughter brought me a new cat - MAUSI (little mice). At the beginning he was very shy and anxious, jumpy and hid behind the couch at every loud noise.
About 4 weeks ago he got KATZENAKNE overnight. These are black plaques that seem to itch. He scratched them all up. In the morning the whole apartment was full of blood stains, he had a fever and was very weak. Every day 4 antibiotic tablets, injections for pain. Now it's finally healed and I hope it doesn't come back.
The vet couldn't find a cause,

This is a gorgeous baby. Do you bath him? We had a cat this happened too. After the third go with it we began to bath her often. It never came back. They told us it was allergies. But there are no allery pills for animals. I am so pleased your baby has recovered well.
Oh no poor Mausie :( I'm glad he's all better! I actually know about cat acne, my kitten has it on her chin.. the vet recommended we clean the spot with an antibacterial gel every other day, so that it won't get infected and so far she's good :)
