Knitting needles

Do you knit with metal or bamboo knitting needles? I've heard that bamboo ones make it harder for the yarn to slip off but then it leads to problems with tension. Also, do you prefer circular or straight ones? I find circular has more flexibility and doesn't weigh my hands down if I have a lot of stitches

I have a set of interchangeable needles from drops. I was planning purchasing the wood needles, but the got sold out before I had made up my mind. Ended up getting the metal needles instead, and I really love them!! I plan on purchasing another set of interchangeable ones, but this time I want the tiny needles for knitting sleeves. I think I wanna get the once from knitpro, but I’m not sure if I want metal or wood. I’ll probably get the metal, so it’ll suit my tension from the other needles better
