Nimue - Le Violiniste Au Trefle

My new finish - The Violinist from Nimue. I used the pattern in .xsd which I bought here https://www.pindiy.com/forum.php ... 685&highlight=nimue

Stitched on 28 count Charles Craft Carolina sand linen with DMC threads. The final size is 3" x 5". Started : February 13, finished March 6.

Designer Annaïck Chauvel includes in her Nimue kit 2 metallic bells to be attached to the violin bow and some gold floss in the jacket's buttons, but I skipped those. The violinist looks great without those, doesn't he?

This is my second Nimue design - and not the last one, I'm sure!

You have stitched this beautifully.  I would be cautious about using the blue marking ink though, in case it doesn't come out.  Maybe use a running stitch & cotton to mark the lines instead.

Wow, I haven’t been brave enough to try one of these. Yours looks wonderful with all those tiny stitches and colors blending together!
