French Heart - Shepherd\'s Bush

This lovely sampler is called French Heart, and it's Shepherd's Bush kit. The kit included 32 ct Graziano linen, silk threads (soie d'algere and Silk n Colors), beads and a clay button. The final size is 6" x 7".


It was my second Sheperd's Bush design and the first stitched with silk threads. High quality materials, different specialty stitches, nice design - all brought great pleasure during the process. The only little cloud on the horizon was when at 70% done I ran out of 3 colors threads. I wrote to Sheperd's Bush designer and told them about this problem. They offered to send me some more threads, which was very nice of them - so that I could finish this sampler.

I made a personal wish before I started this project, and by the end my wish came true:):).

Started: February 25th, finished: March 20th.
