it used to be easier to search for patterns

On the forums where you can filter the content by "dress" or "top" or "sweater" or whatever, the forum used to show soooo many options in each category and now it only shows a few things that have been posted recently, even when I opt to show posts that have been posted any time. It used to give me 20+ pages of patterns that were put in the dress category, now it only shows up with like 2 pages. What happened??

I noticed this same issue. Glad you asked about it! The category sorting option is not very useful anymore. No matter which category you click, it will only show a couple pages of results

Agreed! I feel like the site has overall gotten more confusing and difficult to use.

I also noticed the filters have been less effective and tend to exclude many relevant items.
I couldn't tell if this happened during last massive update or if it is unrelated, though.

I felt this was only happening to me, glad to hear you all have the same problem. Hope it will be solved soon

I was just thinking I'd love to be able to see all the tops and I see it's something that did used to exist! That is a pity.

Its been like this since they made a large update to the site around the new year. It seems that each category only shows the patterns that have been uploaded since that update and not since the beginning of the site. I'm not sure how easy it would be to fix, since that is A LOT of history to sort through and re-categorize.You'd think everything has already been tagged into categories but I wonder if the update wiped all the existing tags.
