The artist, textile designer and author of the book, Lena Corwin, talks about the works of 100 talented and diverse American masters in a new book for everyone who is inspired by weaving, quiltting, dyeing and other traditional techniques.
The chapters are devoted to four categories of art - weaving and weaving of braids (cattle machine, hand weaving); sewing and patch sewing (lap sewing, stitching, embroidery); crocheting, knitting with knitting, felt; stencil printing, block printing, batik. The book includes instructions for making crafts using eight projects so that readers can learn, experiment and create.
