As a fan of Downton Abbey, I particularly enjoyed the character of the Dowager Countess and her unforgettable lines. Her reaction when first hearing the expression “weekend” was particularly priceless: “What is a weekend?” Finding a beautiful colour bearing that quote inspired me to design these comfy socks, perfect for a relaxing weekend. This simple texture will take centre stage in tonals, but can also be a great background to allow more complex colourways to shine.
