I recently lost all the files on my computer that I paid for from here so I started to re-download them from here, then suddenly noticed I was being charged -30 for each one. What?! Why?? I already paid for them once

The 30 pin download fee is always applied to downloads. The only thing you don't pay for if you have to download again is the amount that you pay to the member who originally uploaded it. Its always been like that.

it automatically cost -30 to download regardless, you dont repay for the actual item just downloading it, which sucks

This is charged every time you buy, like a site "tax" on purchases, just like VAT

oh dear, that happened to me also. It sucks but at least you can get some patterns back :(

Whenever you download the file you are charged the download not the price on the pattern. The pattern you don't have to rebuy again. This is also explained in the site informations.
