Knitted from the bottom with provisional cast-on, the chevron lace and Stockinette stitch patterns are worked in the round to the underarm. Front and back are worked flat separately before being joined at the shoulders with Russian grafting. Simple garter stitch edgings complete the armholes and neck opening.
