could you please share what you've knitted very very very practical?

In my opinion, garments that are going to be frequently used in  neutral shades and styles are very practical. I often get sore throats in winter because the weather here is either vey humid or extremely dry, yet cold. So a scarf has been my life saver. Other than that, clutches are practical! Petiteknit has great patterns for that. Mittens with a hidden opening for fingers, and socks, are practical accesories too. And, who doesn't love a good pair of socks?
