Japanese rice bag clips alternative solutions

Hi there! I've seen some making japanese rice bags with these koki clips. I do not have access to that, so I was wondering what I can replace with? All tips are welcomed :)

You could use suspender / pacifier clips. The only difference is that they are removable. There's a few sellers on Etsy for the actual Koki clip.

hm, if they are smooth I wouldn't trust them anyway to hold some weight & would sew pull-through loops instead.
Sorry, I've got no other idea but am curious if anyone else has.
