Posting crochet patterns

I’m trying to post some crochet patterns but the thumbnails never show until the post gets approved. Other unapproved posts have thumbnails on them. How to achieve that?

Also I'm wondering how to edit a post I made, before approval or after approval? Where's the button for that ?Thank you in advance

Thumbnails not showing? Are you talking about a white square instead of an image? I had this problem for a long time too. Then I was advised. Don't use .webp images. They may not be displayed correctly here.
As for editing a post, I always do it before approval. I have never edited it after approval. People wrote that if you edit it after approval, it will move from the main section to the "Post new resources" section again and will wait for a new check.
You edit using the EDIT button at the very bottom of your post, in the lower left corner. But this button, if I'm not mistaken, is active for 24 hours after the template is published. Then it disappears and in order to change anything, you need to contact the moderators.
