A mosaic of floral tiles that are knit in portable units of 6 petals. Perfect for sock yarn odds and ends or advent calendar mini skeins (each petal uses approximately 2.5g of fingering weight yarn). Although the individual petals are joined as you work, the finished 6-petal flowers must be seamed together in the arrangement of your choice. If you strongly dislike seaming or weaving in ends, this might not be the pattern for you. Otherwise, this is a simple and ultra portable project that would truly showcase special hand-dyed yarn leftovers or mini skeins. Make just enough flowers for a small baby blanket, or go to town and make enough for a large shawl! Or take out those sock needles to make a charming set of coasters.
