hello! i am pretty new to this site and i was wondering if it's okay to credit the owner of the pattern when I post my finished project on instagram/tt? kinda hesitant 'cuz they might find me suspicious knowing I bought the pattern from here, thanks!

I agree with @lycisy and @Frelldor . The more unnoticed we are, the better... I was a member of a forrum very similar to this one... and it finally disappeared.

Leave it alone.
It will save you trouble.
"Buying" here is tantamount to copyright infringement.

There are different countries and, depending on this, different attitudes to these topics. I used to make no secret of the fact that I consider it acceptable for people to post other people's patterns in the public domain, and I often argued about this in chats. This is my position and I defended it. But I do not advise anyone to repeat my experience. Because of this, I am banned from many groups, and some designers even refuse to sell me patterns. Therefore, it is better not to tell in public space that you are registered on this site.

But those designers who sell their patterns on social networks, where everyone sits under their real names and everyone is in friends with each other and in groups, of course they see the buyer's real name and see what posts he writes.

Wdym? How do they sell on social media? I thought you can only sell thru social media (- etsy, rav)

doesnt this mean only small creators are affected - not big ones? cause of the group -
