Oh yes! Other people's collections can be really helpful sometimes to stumble upon patterns that don't show up on the search too! I've found a couple of gems that way! hahaha
Choose what you like a lot and has something special. There are many patterns very similar or that you can make your own without a pattern, Buy that one that maybe will be difficult for you to amke by yourself. That is what i do.
