What yarn do i use?

Help the girly out here!... I'm struggling doing a crochet with a milk cotton yarn 5ply. Its so bulky and it doesnt seems right.
XD. I want to use more like a thin one 4ply on the other hand does the opposite T^T its so thin.
I want my amigurumi to be perfectly look but i need the bali cotton yarn to do so but its so pricey in here!!!. What alternative
I can use that does the same as bali cotton yarn i really need your opinions and suggestions.
