How do I complete this task?

First you click "Apply" on the Task itself. You will see "Get" under the Task highlighted. Do not click on that one - just yet.
Go to Painting Fairy subforum, click on any topic in there, and type something meaningful.
After that go back to the Task. Click on "Get" - and you will see that "+100" message. Task is completed.
