so I have been engaging and replying, i know its supposed to be 10 pins per reply but im only getting compensated for half the replies if I am saying that correctly.

It might be because you are replying too fast! If you reply to too many posts too quickly, the system won't reward you for those. It's made so bots and generic responses aren't spammed :) I'm not sure of the specifics though, such as how long you should wait.

What TestKnit said is true. I think it is 1 minute between replies.
