Lavande Grise features a delicate french-lace border and a tiny picot edging. It is a right-triangle shawl knitted sideways from the right tip, and worked from charts or the full written instructions. Suitable for any yarn weight up to aran, the shawl should be blocked firmly lengthwise from the right tip to the bound off edge. (I used a blocking wire run through the picots on my bound off edge.)

The lace border contains elements from stitch patterns found in the Knitting Stitch Bible by Hitomi Shida and the Barbara Walker Treasuries.
