Sizes:
(A, B, C, D, E) (F, G, H, I, J)
Finished garment circumference:
(90, 99.5, 107.5, 119.5, 130) (142, 150, 166, 172.5, 183.5) cm /
(35.5, 39, 42.25, 47, 51.25) (56, 59, 65.25, 68, 72.25)”
For a bust circumference of approximately:
(75, 85, 95, 105, 115) (125, 135, 145, 155, 165) cm /
(29.5, 33.5, 37.5, 41.25, 45.25) (49.25, 53.25, 57, 61, 65)”
This cardigan is designed to be worn with approximately 12.5 – 21 cm / 5 – 8.25” of positive ease around the bust. If you’re in between sizes, you can either decide for more ease and choose a larger size or decide for less ease and choose a smaller size. Whichever you prefer.
Example: If your bust measures 90 cm / 35.5”, choose size C with a finished garment circumference of 107.5 cm / 42.25”, which will provide a positive ease of 17.5 cm / 7” around the bust.
Recommended body length from underarm cast-on to hem edge (adjustable):
30 cm / 12”
Gauge:
For the brioche part:
15 sts x 44 rows/rounds (= counted as 22 brk rows/rounds) =
10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4” on 4.5 mm (US 7) needles,
worked in rows or rounds in brioche stitch, measured after blocking
Note: Please also check your gauge here and there as you knit to ensure it matches the intended tension. Your row gauge is important to ensure a good fit across the shoulders. |
