The Aura Cardigan is a lightweight, long sleeve cardigan with set in sleeves. The open, sheer fabric is knitted in stocking stitch using a fine mohair yarn and larger needles. The 2x2 ribs and double knit button bands use multiple strands of yarn held together to create structured trims.
The body is knitted flat in one piece, from the hem upwards. When the armhole is reached the stitches are split into three, working the rest of the left front, back and right front separately. The shoulder seams are joined, then stitches
are picked up and knitted to form the neck trim and button bands. The sleeves can be worked bottom up flat and seamed to the armholes. Or there is an option for picking up the stitches and working the sleeve top down in the round
