Pattern maker XSD to PDF option not working correctly?

So I downloaded the latest edition of pattern maker which is available on the forum because I have read that I can open and export XSD files to PDF through the printing option, which actually works, great.


But my problem is that, I can only set one option in the view option, either stitches, symbols or solid squares can be set, but I would like it to be solids with symbols. And I have seen this is possible, because I have seen the same type of generated PDFs many times and in those solids with symbols were present.

So my question here, how can I set it to display with everything I want to in the PDF? Are there any better software options to convert XSDs to PDFs?

Right click on a symbol in your palette.  Select symbol format from the drop down menu.  It should open palette options.  Select "Allow colour behind symbols".

Ohhhh thank you very much, so many hidden options everywhere in that program, damn lol...
