Lace Knitting Beginner

Hi Everyone, long time no see!

I really want to start lace knitting, as I find it very beautiful and finally feel confident enough in my skills to try it. I also want to eventually knit my own wedding dress, so I want to get some practice in before attempting such a huge project. (I have ~3 years, If our plans go along well)
My problem is, I'm a very visual learner, and as far as I've seen, lace patterns rarely have very detailed instructions, at least from the couple of patterns I've downloaded (which is logical, as it takes so much skill to knit these pieces, that most lace knitters probably glance at instructions and uderstand what to do).

So, what I'm here to ask is if someone could please point me to some resources to learn how to do these stitches, or some 'beginner' lace patterns that have video or very detailed instructions. From that point onwards I think I might be able to figure it out!
