Another good one is SMC Catania.

People like Catania and Catona because they're sport weight, so they are less likely to have holes, and since they're mercanized, each stitch is very distinct. So if you have a tight enough tension, any 100% mercanized cotton yarn will look great, even worsted weight.

Pelo que ouço falar na comunidade dos amigurumi o fio Catona da Scheepjes é muito bom.

I use the following yarns interchangeably:
- Caline from Distrifil
- Phil Coton 3 from Phildar
- Rio from Lammy yarns
- Cotton Quick from Gründl
With a 3 mm crochet hook, or even a 2.5 mm when I want a very tight result.
They are all mercerized cottons, roughly equivalent (125m / 50g).
Distrifil is the cheapest, but sometimes sales or special offers allow you to find the other yarns at a reasonable price.
Ihave never used Scheepjes, but I have seen that they also have a very large number of colors. I think I will try.
