This short cropped top works in 2 colours, uses different colours and different texture/weight of yarn so it’s fun to knit, and finish with a pretty contrast, starting from top, working back and forth in Wave stitch to create a V neck by adding Inc at both collar edges. Join after the last V neck shaping and join in round, work inc in the round until reached the divide round, then divide the stitches for sleeves and body. Continue to knit the body and then knit the waist band. You can check the length of the body by trying it on at this point, and add or decrease any repeats to modify your Simply Wave, so it fits you! Pick up sleeve sts and armhole sts, knit in rounds until the sleeve is done. You will have 3 options for sleeves, long and wide, short, and straight, knit a long sleeve for a dramatic effect and add fun to your summer wardrobe! Finally pick up around the neckline and I Cord bind off, you can choose to bind off loosely for a wide and sassy shoulder, or a tighter bind off so the garment stays on your shoulder nice and steady.
