Construction
Ginjinha is worked in the round from hem to armhole, then the body is split into pieces and worked flat to shoulders. The neckline is shaped as you work the pieces to shoulders. Shoulders are shaped with short rows. Once shoulders are seamed, placket stitches are picked up from the sides of the V-neck and completed before the folded collar is worked. Collar stitches are picked up around the top of the opening and shaped with a combination of short rows, increases, and a needle size switch. Once collar is complete, sleeve stitches are picked up around armholes and worked in round to end.
