The Cornell Shirt is a casual, oversized design featuring drop shoulders and a grandpa collar. View A has a button up placket at the front, extending down past the waist, and View B has a classic button stand at the front. The insides are finished cleanly with a mix of French seams and facings.
Please Note: This is my menswear size chart. But this is a gender neutral style and I’m sure a range of bodies will wear this. So when looking at this size chart, please focus on the chest measurement when choosing your size, and not the hip. There is ample ease allowed in this pattern and the pattern is laid out in a way to make it easy to grade between sizes.
This pattern has been drafted for a height of 177cm.
Suggested Fabrics: Soft cotton shirting, lightweight/midweight washed linen, lyocell, silk noil, hemp, cotton cheesecloth, cotton voile – any soft, natural woven fabrics with good drape.
Please note: If you’re using a patterned fabric with a repeat that you’d like to match, you may need more fabric than what is suggested. Use your discretion.
Ensure your fabric is washed and ironed before cutting.
Sewing Level: Intermediate sewers and above.
