Russian sewing patterns

Hello, has any non Russian speaker tried sewing a russian pattern (Vikisews, shkatulka-sew...) ? They seem really interesting, but I speak French, English, can cope with Polish and German, but not Russian. :(

Are these patterns self explanatory enough ? Do you use some translation from AI ?

it depends on the pattern & your sewing experience. Like in every other area every designer has her own way to describe & write down instructions.
Even though I speak a little Russian & sew well, I wouldn't download anything if I need more than the template.
It's just not worth my time to figure the misunderstandings out.
If I'd love something very much, I would request a real translation in the bounty area & pay a good reward for it.
If it isn't in a language I understand, Iwouldn't bother struggling with a weird AI translation anymore, wether it's a knitting, crochet or sewing pattern.
There's a million other patterns out there I understand but can't do in my life time anyway.

But if it's itching you very much, give it a try. Spend your pins, make the uploader happy  & see if it's worth it ;)
