                                                The Marielle Top is knitted from the top down in lace pattern.
                                                First, two triangles are knitted, which are then joined to form onefront piece. The front piece is worked back and forth. Then, stitchesare cast on for the back piece and a folded edge is worked.
                                                The front and back piece are joined, and the body is worked in theround on circular needles. The body can be knitted straight downor with a peplum and finished with a picot edge. Finally, the strapsare worked in double knitting.
                                                The lace pattern is described with charts.
