I know what you mean. But if your stitches are small enough like when using 2 over 1 on 25 ct, it looks great with the standard cotton floss used for cross stitch.

I am new to this site but have been stitching for....ever! I have not tried one of the HAEDs yet so am wondering when working one of these are all the stitches just half crosses? Sorry I dont know anyone that is working on one either so thought I would ask. Thanks
