This is very nice.  Love the story of these heavenly maidens.  Thats why she has the ribbons.  Theres a story that the maidens come down to special mountain lakes to bathe and travel down via a large wooden bucket, kind of like the ones attached to wells.  The gown is what allows them to reenter heaven.  So if a man sees the maidens bathe, if he hides her gown, she is earth bound.  In the story, a woodcutter does this and marries the woman thus having a child.  Shes so unhappy that he finally relents to her requests to just "see" her gown.  Sadly she runs away and goes back to heaven with her child.  

I used to love hearing the story while growing up.
