I have a small set of sharp stainless steelHiya Hiya interchangable circulars, but since I tried the ChiaGoo Red Lace stainless steelcirculars, I love them and I regret that I have not decided for the ChiaGoo set when I bought my needle set.Although- or because - the tips are extremly pointed, I barely split the thread with the needle when knitting.I really enjoy knitting with the two ChiaGoos which I own so far and Im dreaming of a small ChiaGoo Twist Red Lace set now. My favorite knitting needles are interchangeable circular needles because they offer the perfect mix of flexibility, convenience, and comfort. I love being able to switch out different needle tips and cable lengths depending on the project, whether I'm knitting a cozy hat or a wide shawl. The smooth joins and quality materials make the knitting experience much more enjoyable, and the ability to adjust as I go means I’m never limited by my tools. They’re a great investment and have become my go-to for nearly every project I take on.
I got KnitPicks interchangeable needles (Reflections Set). Before this, I was using bamboo needles and just buying whatever I needed for the project I was working on. Accumulated a lot of needles that way. I am a very tight knitter, and, unfortunately, have snapped several pairs. Got a metal set and I’m not going back! Plus it’s so much faster to knit now :) I use circulars for everything, even flat knitting.Bought a full set of Chicagoos and Im in love. They are metal.I like the yarn to flow smoothly and I dont find that happens with bamboo. Metal good for tiny knitting because for the stitches don't become loosening. Wood needles good for big knitting because stitches become loosenign.Plastic not good for tiny or big knitting I think. I like circulars but many have too long of a needle for me. I find the smaller the needle the more comfortable to knit with I got a ChiaGoo Red Lace kit and added a couple of cables. Not cheap, but so smooth I prefer metal circular for most of my knitting. Usually Chiao Goo reds. Only wooden circular knitPro ❤️ Circular wood by KnitPro Interchangeable, circular, metal needles. I thiink bamboo must be very sticky. What about you? I like bamboo, very smooth and light I love interchangable circs, favorites are knitpicks. I swear by them. Ive only had one cable break at the join and it was a 60" I was using for a blanket. Material just got too heavy. Edited by ana nunes at 2015-7-16 10:37
I prefer metal, they are light and slick, and contrary to a friend of mines opinion they are not cold, because they get hot with our handss own heat. I got an intergangeable set from knitpro (Nova Metal) and Im deligthed with them. I tried bamboo normal needles because they are so pretty but I find them slow to work with. Lightweight aluminium circular needles. Ive tried bamboo circulars but the plastic tubing in the middle either comes away or breaks off. I have the alu ones in short, medium and long................:lol Interchangable circulars. Usually bamboo but I bought a set of metal for sock knitting and really love them too! I am addi turbo girl, interchangeableRegular turbos, not too fond of the a ddi lace.I like the slickness of the knit picks and they are very pretty but the joints unscrew for me all the time:( I like bamboo I re-taught myself to knit using straight bamboo needles. But currently I tend to go for circular, metal needles. If I keep on knitting, Ill definately buy interchangeable needles!
