Thank you so much for the offer. The site is ebay, but I am a bit of a thread hound and will have to use some of the thread I already have before thinking of buying more (otherwise us humans would have to move out for lack of room). "Coton a broder" is more for satin stitch and other surface stitches than cross stitch. being finer and indivisible, but is now much more difficult to find in a local shop.
