Threads: Caron Collection Soie Crystale, Waterlilies & Wildflowers. Au ver a Soie Soie dAlger. Anchor & DMC substitutes are listed for the Soie dAlger, but not for the others.

Fabric: Stitched on 34 ct Oaten Scone Legacy Linen.

Stitches: Cross stitch and many specialty stitches and some hardanger, as well as cross stitch over one thread. Not suitable for Aida.

The verse reads:
Oh what bosom but must yield,
When, like Pallas, you advance,
With a thimble for your shield
And a needle for your lance?
Fairest of the stitching train,
Ease my passion for your art;
And in pity to my pain,
Mend the hole thats in my heart.
