i used my hardanger scissors for my cross stitch. i just love to use it despite having embroidery scissors .

I’ve been using a pair of Solinger’s for over 20 years. Still super sharp, never used them for anything except thread.

My favorites are Slip n Stitch.  Ive had my pair for about 20 years.  You can still buy them.  They fold up so they are easy to carry and you never have to worry about damaging your fabric.  Nice quality stainless.

I use a pair of Dovo scissors that are curved...I think they are manicure scissors but love them for my cross stitch.  They are always sharp and sturdy.

Honestly, a pair of small gold scissors from a Russian kit off Etsy, I think they were labelled as manicuring scissors, but work wonderfully.
