I was about 8 years old.  I remember watching my Mom stitch and asked her to teach me.  She always stitched these huge pictures from counted cross stitch.  So I never really took a liking to anything other than counted.

I started when I was 15-16 years old ... it was a parents friend who teached me how to stitch ... but I dont remember how all started.

I stitched regularly until I was 23-24 yrs old, then I took again in January last year ... I am 36 years old now :)

I hope to share this passion with my daughter ... if I ever have the chance to be a mother.

ive been stitching since I was about 14 years old stopped for a while when I had my son and then started again ... all in all I have been stitching for about 25 years now :)
