From my favorite web site: Stitched on 28 count Summer Khaki Cashel Linen with DMC floss, Needlepa ...

Thanks JM.  Your work is very lovely.

My loptop is not properly calibrated to look at colours, hence the fabric looks a bit bluish grey to me.  Could you describe the colour as you see it ? In my mind, khaki is tan/dun.

Thanks,
p

Thank you. The program I use to clean up the colors does put a blue tint on everything. This picture should help make the colors much clearer. This khaki is a tan-gray.  Details Reply Post time 2013-8-27 09:11

Thanks. Tan gray is is just the colour I am looking for :) The other colour I like is raw/natural. Cheers, p  Post time 2013-8-27 10:12

You did a fantastic job on this piece!

I always use Treasure braid now instead of Kreinik.  Its so much easier to stitch with, don;t you think?

Comments

I never consider using Treasure braid in place of Kreinik. It is thicker and that might be a problem when blended with floss, but maybe...? I do like it and I have four more in the Celtic series to do  Details Reply Post time 2013-8-29 01:19
