Four Seasons "Fall" drawn thread sampler - JCS Magazine

This is from a series of "season" samplers published in JCS magazine many years ago. I eventually stitched all four, but here is "Fall". This was the first time I did drawn thread work and I fell in love with it! The "one over" alphabet was a pain, but I learned a lot doing these samplers. The best part: they fit perfectly into pre-made 5x7 frames!

Such lovely, neat details !
The Sweetheart Tree has lovely drawn thread designs too, but I just did not have the courage to try them out ! But looking at your piece, I may just do a sampler first before attempting bigger :)
