How To Knit: The Claw Cable Stitch

This stitch is worked over 7 sts. 4 rows form the pattern.

1st row: K.
2nd row: P.
3rd row: Slip the next 2 sts on to cable needle and hold at back of work, K1 then K2 from cable needle (called Cr3R) K1, sl next st on to cable needle and hold at front of work, K2 then K1 from cable needle (called Cr3L).
4th row: P.
