From the designer: This fun, ruffled skirt has a knit-in waistband casing. A round of purl stitches on the underskirt marks whre the stitches are picked up to knit the contrasting ruffles.


A classic of its kind -- the peasant skirt has been a symbol of healthy femininity for centuries. Three lengths are provided, depending on how youthful your healthy femininity is. This model in particular is very bohemian; each ruffle has a different pattern, and as shown, each tier can be a different colour as well -- though yardages are given for a single-colour version, too.


A top was designed to pair with the skirt but really? Come on now, you could make this top with just the skirt pattern, right?
