Rarefacta Top Knitting Pattern by Giuseppina Flamini; yarn used is Fingering weight on US 4 - 3.5 mm needles.  Note this pattern is written using stitch pattern charts; you must be comfortable reading stitch pattern charts.For beginning knitters do an Internet search using the words "how to read knitting chart" & you will find lots of links to help you.
The pattern is written for only one size, but it is easily adaptable to larger (or smaller) sizes.  The pattern is 2 rectangles seamed together.
The finished measurements are 52 cm wide (approx. 20 1/2") by 54 cm height (approx. 21").

This is originally an Italian pattern translated by the designer into English, so only metric measurements are used for the pattern.
