• 9 (10, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16) skeins in Iceland 153 or River 107
Or 1155 (1250, 1325, 1450, 1570, 1670, 1800, 1900, 2025)

Needles
• One 16", 24", and 32" circular needle (circ) in size US 8 [4 mm]
• One set of double-pointed needles (dpns) in size US 8 [4 mm] or one 40"
circ if using magic loop to work sleeves
Gauge
18 sts and 26 rnds = 4" [10 cm] in stockinette st, after blocking.
22 sts and 26 rnds = 4" [10 cm] in cable pattern, after blocking.
The center cable panel should measure approx 7" across at gauge
after blocking.
This sweater is worked top down starting with the cowl. Stitches are picked up from
the bound off edge of the cowl and the yoke is worked as a raglan to the underarms.
The body has a gentle A-line shape with short rows worked at the bottom back hem
making the back slightly longer than the front. |
