Chelsea Craft - Hummingbird Garden Party 12inch Crochet Square

Fun hummingbirds drink from flowers surrounded by a border of flowers. This 12” afghan square makes extensive use of overlay techniques and can be challenging for those learning but pretty straightforward for the seasoned crocheter. Would make beautiful pillows for a sofa or bed as well.

Pattern is written in standard American crochet terminology with photo tutorial as you go and charts for edging & center flower. Included is an alternate Tulip edging chart if you’d prefer tulips rather than violets.

While the skill level is intermediate to advanced. This project will be a fun challenge for those with basic crochet skills. It has the opportunity to learn some great new techniques without too much hair pulling.  patterns are thorough and don’t assume you know the details. So you may want to consider this square if you’re ready for something new & totally different.
