MEASUREMENTS:
FinishedMeasurements:Approx.60"/152.5cm wide x60"/152.5 cm long

Yarn used: Caron One Pound Yarn; this is a size 4 medium worsted yarn; as of 7 March 2017 this yarn is still available from the manufacturer.  Any similar yarn (size 4) can be substituted.

Needle used:
One size US I-9 (5.5 mm) crochet hook, or size to obtain gauge.

EXTRA NEEDED SUPPLIES:
Five1"/2.5 cm steel rings (for pirate earrings).
GAUGEIn red square pattern stitch, 12 sts and 8 dc rows and 14 sc rows = 4"/10 cm.In black square pattern stitch, 12 sts and 6 rows = 4"/10 cm.In single crochet (skull pieces), 12 sts and 13 rows = 4"/10 cm.
