Because Trumps presidency might be affecting our internet. He appointed Ajit Pai to chairman of the FCC (Federal Communications Commission). Pai is against Net Neutrality which, in short, keeps ISPs from slowing some sites (say blogs and forums like this for example) while speeding up sites for big business. ISPs or possibly websites would possibly be paying a fee in the future to allow people to browse websites at faster than dial-up speed.
